We are Joel Wild Miller and Annalisa Wild Miller, formerly Annalisa Cox of Tuckaway Farm.
The Wild Millers Gardens are located on the historic Randall farm in Lee, New Hampshire. The Randall farm is a 1700’s homestead that was in the same family until 2003 when the Cox family was able to save it from development. They were able to put most of the Randall land and the Cox family’s adjacent Tuckaway Farm under conservation easement.
We currently have four generations of family living on the land working and dreaming alongside each other.
The Randall land had not been worked in over 40 years and we are excited about being able to care for the soils again and bringing the whole working farmback to life.
-Joel Wild Miller-
”A man needs to feel the rhythms of the earth, he needs to have in hand something real. The Tiller of a boat, a set of reins, the roughness of rope, or simply the handle of a hoe. These are the things that young boys dream of.”
In my mind a boys dreams are real. They speak to the pure and real needs of a mans heart and to the environment in which he earns his living. Organic small scale farms, to me, are a very real need in our society today, they are important to the health of our local communities and the land which supports us all. I’m psyched to be playing in the dirt!
-Annalisa Wild Miller-
I am passionate about agriculture, massage therapy, and cultivating the health and vitality of ourselves and the land.
I love working with my hands and love to feel connected to my place on this land. I can think of nothing more worth while than being connected to the natural cycles of growing food. I especially love to grow garlic. I am grateful to be able to practice all of these things all the while being apart of our growing community
